Grab a beach towel and some chairs, because the Islanders Farmers Market on Johns Island and Everland Inflatables are teaming up to host the inaugural Family Fest this Saturday, featuring some of the most unique inflatable amusements to tower over the Lowcountry.
Families are invited to enjoy a day filled with games, food and prizes as Family Fest seeks to provide wholesome fun for island residents and neighbors. Food trucks will be on site, and beverages will be sold by a local family raising funds to support their 14-year-old child’s heart transplant.
Family Fest will feature inflatables like “The Edge,” a 34-foot inflatable slide with twin 60-degree drops for the visiting thrill seekers. Parents looking for a quick break from the kids can toss them into the Looney Tunes-themed inflatable “Tweety.” And for the parents who aren’t so big on blown-up tubes of plastic and rubber, organizers have you covered with horseshoes, cornhole and giant Connect 4.
The event is set for 12-6 p.m. this Saturday at 3546 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island. Parking is free, and the event is sponsored by Akers Ellis, El Mercadito and LocalSpanishNews.com.
