It’s that time again! The City Paper Music Awards are back, bringing voters a ballot stacked with musicians who supply Charleston with killer tunes ranging from alternative and hip-hop to experimental and jazz.

Vote for your favorite bands, DJs and songwriters through Oct. 27 to show some love to standout acts, including Soul/R&B Act of the Year, Country/Americana Band of the Year and Up-and-Coming Music Act of the Year.

City Paper news and music staff in conjunction with notable music professionals around town curated this year’s list of nominees.

“Make sure you vote today in what is Charleston’s only local annual spotlight on local music for fans,” said editor and publisher Andy Brack. “And when we tally the votes in November, we’ll announce winners at a great party at the Charleston Music Farm on Nov. 15.”

Final voting round closes 11:59 p.m., Oct. 27.
