High Water Festival delivered killer tunes and good times last weekend. The weather was perfect and the vibes were high. Musicians took to either the Stono or Edisto stage in North Charleston’s Riverfront Park throughout the day Saturday and Sunday, giving the crowd some outstanding performances.

Rapper Big Boi rolled out all the Outkast classics on Saturday while Lana Del Ray showed up for a surprise performance with the Bleachers.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise closed down the festival’s first night with a killer show.
Singer-songwriter Angel Olsen brightened up the Edisto stage Sunday afternoon with her ethereal voice while pop act Lucius duo slayed the Stono stage, jumping from keys and drums dressed like disco balls.

Rock ‘n’ roll band Palm Palm was added last minute to the Sunday lineup.

Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent of Shovels & Rope dominated the stage as usual, and She Returns From War held it down as the only local act on the bill besides Shovels & Rope.

Sunday night’s headliner Beck put on an electric performance spanning both new and old releases.
