The Sound of Charleston
Charleston’s history is perhaps best told through its music. Guests will hear and learn during a 75-minute live music concert including everything from the strains of “Summertime, and the living is easy,” from George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, to gospel spirituals, jazz, light classics and music of the Civil War at historic Circular Congregational Church in downtown Charleston. Firefly Distillery oyster roast
Partnering with Lowcountry Oyster Co. for the third year in a row, Firefly’s annual all-you-can-eat oyster roasts kicked off in November and run monthly through March. In addition to oysters by chef Graham Calabria, also returning for the third year in a row, attendees can purchase different cuisines from various food trucks, enjoy music from Charleston’s most popular DJs, sip on specialty Firefly cocktails and more.

7th Annual James Island Holiday Parade
Celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and all other winter holidays with a half-hour parade around the Oakcrest loop on James Island. Line the streets with your neighbors to watch the parade, or join in yourself with no registration needed.
