Head to Prohibition’s back patio for late-night bites from Fiddlers’ Fire every weekend this month. Chef Tyler Cook serves up “elevated street food”

Nothing keeps us going through these long, cold winter days like the promise of a fun food pop-up. Whether you’re hitting up an afternoon pizza party or a late-night street food fest, there’s something special about noshing on good food on a cold winter’s day.

Here are three pop-ups we’re hitting up this February.

Do you have a recurring pop-up we should know about? Email all the deets to food@charlestoncitypaper.com.

Fiddlers’ Fire at Prohibition

Head to Prohibition’s back patio for late-night bites from Fiddlers’ Fire every weekend this month. Chef Tyler Cook serves up “elevated street food” like spicy beef barbecue skewers and chicken-fried roasted oysters. You can order drinks from Prohibition’s full-service patio bar, too.

9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays through February.

Tiny’s at Weltons

Weltons Tiny Bakeshop recently launched a more permanent pop-up pizza concept in the alley of the bakeshop called Tiny’s. Head to the bakeshop’s alley every weekend now through February for wood-fired pizzas, snacks and natural wine.

The specific dates for service will be announced weekly due to the risk of inclement weather so be sure to check the shop’s Instagram, @weltonstinybakeshop for the most up-to-date info.

Gingerbug at Colectivo

Gingerbug, a Southeast Asian pop-up, has been making its rounds around town since 2019 and has been popping up at new(ish) Johns Island restaurant, Colectivo, since last October. Which is to say — if you haven’t noshed on these Thai curries and charcoal-grilled snacks yet, what are you waiting for?

4 p.m. to 9 p.m. (or until sold out) Mondays.
