This Thursday is National Mimosa Day — and while there are plenty of spots in town serving up the popular orange juice and champagne beverage — Lowcountry Oyster Company offers a fun twist on the classic cocktail with their Mimosa Mignonette.
The Charleston-based, sustainable oyster farm has a recipe (see below) for a tangy mignonette made with champagne vinegar, fresh squeezed orange and lemon juices and finely minced shallots and jalapeno.
Celebrate the holiday by ordering Lowcountry Oyster Company’s oysters to your door, or find them at local raw bars like 167 Raw and The Darling.
