MORNING NEWSBREAK  |  Gun violence continued across South Carolina over the weekend as an 8-year-old Colleton County boy is in “grave condition” after a Saturday night shooting and two died in Rock Hill during a block party.

Police said they found the boy about 11 p.m. Saturday in a vehicle suffering from life-threatening injuries, according to media reports.  He was flown to a hospital and said to be in “grave” condition.  Also over the weekend, authorities found more than 100 spent shell casings after reports of shots fired at a lounge on Ritter Road.  No injuries were reported.

In Rock Hill, a 44-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man died Saturday at a block party in Rock Hill , according to the Associated Press.  Two others were treated for minor gunshot wounds.
