The South Carolina Aquarium’s Good Catch program, in collaboration with Chef Graham Calabria, hosts a multicourse, woodfired meal at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Union Station. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased on resy.com

The Good Catch program, according to the aquarium’s website, “leads and encourages communities in support of local, sustainable seafood practices and consumption of responsibly harvested seafood.”

The evening’s menu will be dictated by whatever fresh catches are available in the days leading up to the dinner. Seafood industry professionals will also be on hand during the dinner, offering insights and expertise to diners.

In a press release, Good Catch coordinator Louden Porter said this of Calabria: “His dedication to sourcing and showcasing local ingredients aligns perfectly with our mission to promote sustainable seafood and support our regional fishermen.”

A portion of proceeds from the dinner will support the state’s seafood industries in their efforts to protect and preserve marine life.
