On Nov. 30, folk-pop star Noah Kahan gave an intimate performance at the historic Riviera Theater in downtown Charleston to celebrate Small Business Saturday with American Express.

The event, “American Express Presents: Celebrating Small Business Saturday with Noah Kahan,” aided in the recovery of Southeastern small businesses impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton through a giving pledge from American Express. Learn more by visiting americanexpress.com/SBS15.

In a press release, Kahan said, “Small businesses are a fundamental part of any community, big or small, but they are particularly important to a small town like the one I grew up in. They are the beating heart of the community, and I can’t wait to join American Express for its 15th Small Business Saturday to show how thankful I am for these local treasures — From the studio where I recorded my first ever song to the place I got my first ever haircut, without these institutions my hometown wouldn’t feel like home at all.”
