Charleston Restaurant Week, organized by the S.C. Restaurant & Lodging Association, was once held twice a year. Last year, though, the organization pivoted and did away with its fall installment.

That means the winter version, held now through Jan. 19 is your one chance to indulge in all things restaurant week around town.

Restaurant Week is an opportunity to try out new-to-you restaurants, return to old favorites you haven’t frequented in a while or snag some pretty sweet deals.

More than 50 restaurants are participating in the week so our list should be used simply as a jumping off point. Here are our best bets for this year’s Charleston Restaurant Week:

Oak Steakhouse celebrates 20 years in Charleston this month. Visit the iconic Broad Street steakhouse now through Jan. 19 for a three-course menu for $60. Menu options include items like duck croquettes, pappardelle bolognese, and, of course, two different cuts of steak. Book your reservation through Open Table

You don’t have to stay downtown for a solid Restaurant Week experience. James Island’s Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen offers a bang-for-your-buck three-course dinner for $30. Indulge in Lowcountry flavors like pimento cheese, gumbo and fried flounder. Book your reservation on resy.com

Been meaning to try East Bay Street’s newish hotspot, The Peacock (formerly The Habit)? The restaurant is serving three dinner courses for $45, with the option to add a half glass wine pairing for each course for an additional $20. The menu options are extensive, with options like fried green tomatoes, crispy chicken wings, a smash burger, garlic butter shrimp, charred lamb lollipops, apple cobbler and carrot cake. Book a reservation through Open Table.

Lunch with a view? Why not? Head to The Watch for two courses for $23. Lunch options include tomato and basil soup, apple and goat cheese salad, cheeseburger sliders, a shrimp roll and chicken paillard salad. Make a reservation on Open Table.

Mount Pleasant’s Cantina 76 has a great three-course menu for just $18. Start with chips and salsa or queso then choose from dishes like a barbecue chicken quesadilla, two tacos and a side or an entree salad. Learn more at cantina76.com

If you’ve been wanting to check out a Brazilian steakhouse, restaurant week is the perfect time to give it a shot. Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse in North Charleston is offering an all-you-can-eat dinner for $45.95. Choose from dishes like Brazilian pork sausage, brisket, filet mignon, lamb chops, cabbage salad, fresh mozzarella, Brazilian collard greens and more. Reserve your table at Open Table

Get your fix of a Charleston staple with dinner at Husk, which is serving three courses for $55 this week. Choose from dishes like field greens caesar salad, rabbit Brunswick stew, grilled pork steak, sunchoke rigatoni and lemon chess pie. Book your table at resy.com

Make your way to the new Kiawah spot, Linnette’s at The Dunlin for either lunch or dinner. You can snag three lunch courses — think crispy chicken sandwich, shrimp and grits and chocolate pudding — for $35. Or, make an evening of it with three courses for $58. Dishes include a salad of chicories, seared golden tilefish, ricotta cavatelli and buttermilk chocolate tart. Book your table at resy.com.

James Island’s The Harlow serves three fresh, raw bar-inspired dinner courses for just $35. Enjoy a raw bar sampler with select oysters, shrimp cocktail and blue crab claws and additional dishes like caesar salad, brussels sprouts, the restaurant’s signature burger and a Charleston hot chicken sandwich. Don’t knock it til you try it. Downtown stalwart spot Hyman’s Seafood is serving six, yes six, dinner courses for just $30 this week. Snag faves like boiled peanuts, hush puppies, corn ribs, fried flounder, broiled croquettes and Hyman’s “famous key lime pie.” Learn more at hymanseafood.com
