MORNING HEADLINES | Spoleto Festival USA’s 2025 season will feature more than 120 performances over 17 days of the spring, according to published reports. Among the highlights will be two operas, multimedia offerings, a special cabaret and myriad concerts across Charleston.
The 49th season of the world-class festival will start May 23 and end up with a finale on June 8. You can start purchasing tickets at 10 a.m. Feb. 21 at SpoletoUSA.org.
While more details will emerge, performers will include Isaac Mizrahi, who will offer a cabaret at Charleston Music Halls. Other performances during the festival include saxophonist Branford Marsalis, operas by Benjamin Britten and Jules Massenet, and shows by Patti Smith, Mavis Staples, Lucinda Williams, Band of Horses and Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy.
