“We’re going back — we’re all going to Charleston in about two weeks,” actor Drew Starkey said in a recent interview posted on X.
The hit streaming show has been a steady source of employment for the Lowcountry film industry ecosystem since 2019, according to media reports, with familiar sets and backdrops ranging from The Wreck of the Richard and Charlene seafood restaurant on Shem Creek to Hunting Island’s lighthouse in Beaufort County.
Its cast also includes Goose Creek native Madelyn Cline, who recently posted a video on TikTok about filming the final season.
