L’Organo featuring Matthew Wilkinson  
Charleston’s own Matthew Wilkinson, recently returned from advanced study in Germany, makes his L’Organo debut, giving the 2026 L’Organo series a high note. His eclectic program culminates with the brilliant pyrotechnics of Liszt’s great “Ad nos” Fantasia.

Memorial Carillon Concert  
Carillonist Michael Varnadore will honor American soldiers and veterans with popular patriot tunes on the outdoor 59-Bell Carillon. There is outdoor seating or guests can bring blankets for picnic lunches under the great oaks that line the avenue. Young Artists Series: My Romance 
Emerging artists will offer a repertoire that includes Borodin’s “String Quartet No. 2 in D Major”. The performers: David Gadsden & Messiah Taylor (violins), Autumn Buchta (viola), Hayden Rucker (cello); Meleana Cabales (mezzo-soprano); Xandra Smith (mezzo-soprano); Zach Butler (cello); Cecily Wright (violin); Danny Maniscalco (violin); and James Love (piano) will wow the audience in a lunchtime performance.

The New South Festival Singers will draw on a rich legacy of American Shaker songs, paired with choral works spanning from the Renaissance to the 21st century. The Piccolo Spoleto Memorial Day Concert at Hampton Park  
This annual patriotic tradition features the Charleston Concert Band performing music ranging from rousing marches to Broadway show tunes and concluding with a stirring musical tribute to each of the armed forces of our great country. Bring a chair or blanket for this free event.
