The P&C has a good follow up on the Dorchester District Two disparity controversy from yesterday, and it confirms what the short-on-facts-and-figures group calling itself the Concerned Mothers of Dorchester District Two tried to prove at Monday’s school board meeting but failed — a disproportionate number of black students are suspended and expelled from public schools in Dorchester District Two. And not just in Dor County, but Charleston County, the state of South Carolina and the U.S. as a whole.
