Our waitress as the King Street Grill told us about the Monkey Reference Rule tonight. If you pay attention, you’ll notice a reference to a monkey in everyday conversation — whatever kind of monkey in whatever kind of context — at least once a day, every day. Given that Monkey has been a big show of Spoleto thus far, that’s not too surprising. We’ll have to test that rule after the festival is over.
