State health officials announced another 2,115 cases of COVID-19, the fifth day in a row of case numbers over 2,000. While numbers are still high, they have gradually decreased since Dec. 5, when they reached 2,715. Four deaths were also reported Tuesday by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Out of 11,214 tests counted statewide, 18.9% came back positive.

Berkeley County School District is expected to discuss moving classes online at tonight’s school board meeting. The move was added to the agenda after requests from several board members.

State health officials said Monday that South Carolina will receive 200,000-300,000 vaccine doses from the federal government by the end of the year.
