The BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival is busy all year long, working to raise money for the MUSC Children’s Hospital fund. Their goal is a big ol’ 50K, double previous years’ amounts.
One easy way to give some dough is to round up your bill this week at participating restaurants: Blossom, Cypress, Magnolias, Sunfire Grill, Tristan, and Circa 1886.
Or, if you’re a high-roller, you can stop by the live auction on Friday. It’s free to attend and will kick off at 2 p.m. in the main tent in Marion Square. You can bid on trips and a live taping of Iron Chef with Bobby Flay. A silent auction will also be happening throughout the weekend.
