Here’s some holiday-themed news you can use from area breweries.  Enjoy!

Commonhouse Aleworks’ in-house restaurant partner, Swig & Swine, recently launched its Uncommon Swine daily lunch special. Every weekday, guests can order a rotating sandwich special with a side for $12. Commonhouse regulars can also take place in Double Points December; Commonhouse app users receive double points on every purchase this month, with points redeemable for perks, discounts and merch.

Wednesdays are trivia night at Charles Towne Fermentory. Head to the Avondale hotspot from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. every week for all the fun.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again — Sunday Funday at Coast Brewing is the place to be for all your craft cocktail needs. Yep, this brewery has some of the best craft cocktails in town and you can snag a specialty creation for just $8 every Sunday.

If trivia nights aren’t really your thing, Edisto River Brewing Company hosts cornhole tournaments every Wednesday starting at 6:30 p.m.

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co.’s seasonal favorite beer, Lost In The Forest, is now available in the taproom on draft or in to-go 4-packs. The IPA features “cloudy amber fumes of winter forest and citrus peel” and is perfect for these chilly fall days (spoken from experience).

Estuary Beans & Barley hosts a variety of festive events this month (check out the full lineup online) including a sushi making class Dec. 16 and an ugly sweater party Dec. 21. You can always head to the brewery for trivia on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and yoga on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

Snag two new beers at Frothy Beard Brewing Co. this month. In collaboration with local nonprofit Buds & Suds CHS, Frothy has brewed a peach cobbler sour with fresh peaches, toasted cinnamon sticks, vanilla and graham crackers. The second new beer is Dual IPA, a West Coast double IPA brewed with cascade, centennial and simcoe hops.

Hobcaw Brewing hosts a holiday party from noon to 8 p.m. Dec. 22. Guests can order pizza from Cork & Crust and jerky from Heights Meat Market. There will be a free jump castle for the kids, free Christmas ornament decorating and fake snow showers throughout the day.

If you’re looking for the perfect Christmas gift for the beer lover in your life, look no further than Holy City Brewing, which is selling a beer advent calendar. The mixed holiday mystery 12-pack features both 12 oz and 16 oz Holy City brews.

Get festive with Low Tide Brewing’s Liquid Fruit Cake beer, available in 4-packs at the brewery now.

Speaking of festive beer, a collaborative brew between Westbrook Brewing Co. and Edmund’s Oast is perfect for this holiday season. The Nuttin Butter than Another Pair of Cam Pants is a Nutter Butter inspired pastry barleywine made with “huge gobs” of peanut butter, lactose, vanilla and baking spices.
