Easter takes place April 20 which means it’s almost too late to make plans for dining out or ordering take-out for the big day around town.

Fear not, we’ve rounded up some last-minute reservations available at a variety of restaurants, as well as some to-go options you can still snag through the weekend. Happy (Easter egg) huntin’ y’all.

Open on Easter

Hotel Bennett hosts several events during Easter week including:

  • Mad Hatter Tea in Camellias, with multiple seatings April 14 through 16. Tickets are $68/kids under 12 and $98 adults. Sign up online
  • Easter brunch in the Crown Ballroom ($135/adults, $70/kids under 12), which includes a “lavish buffet” with carving stations, seafood and desserts. Make your reservation online

Enjoy Easter brunch at Vivian Howard’s Lenoir from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 20. Indulge in the restaurant’s usual brunch fare plus some specials like crab cake benedict and pork belly porchetta with field pea succotash, salsa verde and two poached farm fresh eggs. Book online now

New(ish) downtown Italian restaurant, Legami, will officially launch brunch this May but folks looking to enjoy the service early can book the Easter brunch now. Diners can look forward to dishes like mozzarella in carrozza served with breadcrumb toasted bread, mozzarella, prosciutto cotto and tomato sauce; smoked salmon with EVOO, fried capers, lemon creme fraiche, chives, pickled onions and egg yolk butter brioche bread and carbonara with pecorino cheese, egg yolk, black pepper and guanciale. 

Celebrate Easter by the sea at BLU Beach Bar & Grill, which will host an Easter buffet brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 20. Reservations are limited so contact the restaurant ASAP to book your seat. 

Bourbon N’ Bubbles will host an “elegant” Easter affair April 20. Book your table on OpenTable.

Beautiful South will host an Easter dim sum banquet ($140/serves 3-4 people) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 20. Chef David Schuttenberg’s Cantonese-style roasted duck serves as the centerpiece of this meal, which will also feature dim sum faves like Chinese broccoli, scallion pancakes, pork dumplings and char siu bao. Enjoy an Easter brunch buffet ($75/includes bloody mary or mimosa, $35/kids under 12) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 20 at Church and Union. Indulge in dishes like roasted pork, seared salmon and brioche French toast. Book your spot via OpenTable

Oak Steakhouse will serve Easter brunch April 20 with dishes like steak and eggs, French toast and shrimp and grits. There are still some tables available via OpenTable. 

The Vendue Hotel’s restaurant, Revival, will host Easter brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. this year. Dig into dishes like truffle omelettes, spring lamb and seared scallops. Book online

Abbracci Italian Cuisine & Cocktails, which launched a new brunch service last month, will serve Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Diners can order from dishes like rosemary pancakes, shrimp and polenta and quiche florentine. Make your res on Resy.

Stars Restaurant will host an Easter brunch from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring their classic, Lowcountry-inspired brunch menu. You can make a reservation online but walk-ins are welcome, too. 

Make a day of it at Lillian’s which will be open for both Easter brunch and lunch — and Sunday fried chicken dinner starting at 6 p.m. You can book a spot on Resy and walk-ins are welcome as well. 

Rudy Royale will serve a special Easter brunch — think Southern-inspired dishes like hot chicken, deviled eggs and brunch cocktails — alongside live music. Walk-ins and reservations are equally welcome.

Where you can order Easter takeout

Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint is accepting Easter takeout orders through 5 p.m. April 16. The Easter menu includes Martin’s classics alongside Pat Martin’s family recipes, like smoked ham, deviled eggs, hashbrown casserole and corn pudding. Pick-up is available April 18 through April 20. Order online now. 

Grab Easter brunch to-go from Mercantile & Mash. A la carte items like bananas foster French toast and shrimp and grits can be ordered through April 17, with pickup available on both April 19 or April 20. 

Hamby Catering & Events will be slinging solid to-go Easter brunches available for pre-order through April 17. Pickup between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. April 19. Choose from large packages or order items — buttermilk ham biscuits, deviled eggs — a la carte. Order online, call the Market at (843) 725-4035 or email niki@hambycatering.com

Choose from a variety of to-go Easter dinner packages from Halls Signature Events, from meals that feature glazed spiral ham to a sunrise breakfast meal that includes cinnamon rolls and a fresh fruit platter. You can also order a la carte items like creamed spinach and lobster mac and cheese. Order by 5 p.m. April 16 for an April 19 or April 20 pickup. 

Swing by WildFlour Bakery on April 19 or April 20 to grab some goodies for your Easter celebrations. This year’s holiday menu includes items like spring veggie quiche or frittata, strawberry bundt cake with cream cheese glaze and mixed berry pie topped with pecan streusel.
