Forget the stale old holiday tunes of your childhood. The future of caroling is Unsilent Night Charleston, which brings together technology-friendly Christmas lovers and their boomboxes, iPods, or any sort of music player. It doesn’t matter if you’re tone deaf, because New Music Collective will provide a CD, tape, or digital download for you to play. Bring the whole family to walk around Charleston with your music player of choice on Sat. Dec. 19. Meet at 5 p.m. at City Gallery. You will be bringing the noise, and the holiday spirit, to the historic district. RSVP to ron@newmusiccollective.org so you have music to play.
