Mark your calendars: Eye Level Art has some exciting events planned for January. On Jan. 21, the gallery hosts a farewell to artist Max Miller, who is moving to New York. The artist attended College of Charleston and the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy. The retrospective of Miller’s work will be shown at the 103 Gallery during the month of January with a reception on Jan. 21 from 7-10 p.m.

Then after hosting a handful of shows during the Charleston Comedy Festival, ELA hosts Fork + Brush on Jan. 27, a collaboration between Iverson Catering and artist Kevin Taylor. Chef Iverson Brownell will create a meal inspired by Taylor. The evening will include a cocktail hour, four-course meal, and music from Taylor with La Calle.

On Jan. 28, Taylor’s show Half Life Whole Hearted will open at 7 p.m. featuring three large-scale pieces created specifically for ELA. Call (843) 425-3576 for more info.
