The Charleston Artist Guild has encouraged local artists to bare it all for their 2011 calendar, “Artistic Exposures.” All 13 artists who posed for the calendar were given the freedom to choose his or her pose, location, and photographer.

Director of Development Gazie Nagle admits, “It started as a joke, and it became more serious when we started looking for artists and participants.”

You’ll be able to see a whole new side of artist like Jack Alterman, Olli Wendelin, Ron Rocz, Gazie Nagle, Steve Jordon, and Marty Biernbaum … though all the naughty bits will be covered.

The calendars will be on sale starting April 14 for $20 each, and there will be a calendar-signing event Fri. May 7 from 6-9 p.m. at the East Bay Meeting House. To purchase a calendar, call the Guild gallery at (843) 722-2425.
