Creative Spark Center for the Arts is hosting an event that tours Sullivanโ€™s Island cottages, homes, and castles. In these domiciles, there will be original works of art for sale, musical entertainment, chef demonstrations, and tastings. Proceeds from the event benefit Creative Sparkโ€™s work, which brings arts performances and resident artists to schools in the Lowcountry.

Art On the Beach & Chefs in the Kitchen takes place on a four-mile loop beginning at the Sandpiper Gallery on Sullivanโ€™s. The route is friendly to bicyclers and there are golf cart ride tickets available at an extra charge, but they are limited.

Station 22 is sponsoring the event for the 12th time and is hosting a reception that is included in the ticket price. Other sponsoring restaurants include Old Village Post House, Mustard Seed, Cafรฉ Medley, Atlanticville, Everyday Gourmet, and Giddy Goat Cheese.

Advance tickets are available online at creativespark.org and at the Sandpiper Gallery for $35. Tickets the day of the event are $40. Also, art purchases totaling $100 or more qualifies the patron for a commemorative, bottomless champagne glass.
