The Theatre 99 gang is working on a brand-new show that blends two inherently hilarious forms of entertainment: improv and karaoke. T99 co-founder Greg Tavares is writing and directing Redneck Karaoke Contest, which was inspired by Tony and Tinaโ€™s Wedding and Awesome ’80s Prom.

Tavares is holding auditions for โ€œall types of rednecksโ€ on April 11 at 8:30 p.m. at Theatre 99. Youโ€™ll be expected to sing a karaoke song โ€” you can find the list on the eventโ€™s Facebook page. Singing skills and a background in improv are not required.

Thereโ€™s no need to sign up beforehand โ€” just make sure youโ€™re at least 18. Bring your friends but leave the baby rednecks at home. Call (843) 853-6687 or email info@theatre99.com for more details.
