Gaslight Street, 2011

A weekend concert series is off and running at the Brick House Kitchen on James Island (1575 Folly Road). The venueโ€™s main restaurant is a historic farm house situated behind a line of oak trees. An open-air concert area is set up behind the house.

Tonight (Fri. May 27), local band Gaslight Street hits the stage with Asheville-based songwriter Pierce Edens in the backyard setting. On Sat. June 4, Greensboro, N.C., roots-rock band Holy Ghost Tent Revival shares the bill with local indie-rock quartet Old You and newly formed bluegrass band the Rusty Hook Ramblers.

The shows starts at 7 p.m. and runs through midnight, rain or shine. Admission is $10. Specials on craft beer and food will be featured. The concert series is presented by Indigo Coast Radio and Symbiotic Media. Visit brickhousecharleston.com for more.
