Torch Velvet Lounge is changing hands, but keeping its integrity.
London native Mike Vitale has sold Torch to real estate investor and restaurateur Alberto Reyes of Los Arcos Restaurants.
Reyes has enlisted Marc Fischer (City Bar) to help transition and operate the establishment. Located on vibrant Upper King Street since 2005, Torch has been a popular venue for art exhibits, fashion shows, DJ expos, specialty acts, live bands, theme parties, and general hookah-smoking.
Although a new owner is in place, there are no plans to rebrand, and Torch will continue to operate as is.
