Common superstitions include crossing a black cat, walking under a ladder, and throwing spilled salt over your left shoulder, but there is nothing in the curious list of things to avoid concerning needles. With that in mind, if you’re looking for a tat, Friday the 13th is your lucky day. Roses and Ruins Tattoo will give you a tattoo with the number 13 incorporated in it for just $13.
The artists at the parlor have drawn a variety of tattoos to choose from that reference the number either vaguely or obviously. “Most of the tattoos we’ve drawn are already up on Facebook, but we’ll have more to choose from tomorrow,” says Dana Alford, an employee at Roses and Ruins.
Teapots, spiders, bicycles, teepees, snakes, crosses, and broken hearts are among the colorful images to choose from. A minimum tip of $20 is required. Both Roses and Ruins locations (downtown and Summerville) will be participating. Who said Friday the 13th was unlucky?
