Local lady folksters with killer harmonies and lovelorn lyrics She Returns From War will release its first EP on July 12 at a place that’s known to the house-show circuit as Peter “Sad Boy” Spearman’s Kevsco Alley (293 King Street). The four-song Coyote Soda is full of surprises. “They’re all originals with a decomposed surf-rock vibe,” songwriter and vocalist Hunter Park says. “Completely different from what we usually do.” Tiger Hudson will open the show at 9 p.m., and wine will be provided. This is a donation-only event, and all money goes directly to the musicians. She Returns From War will also release a full-length album recorded at Columbia’s Jam House later this year.
