Downtown’s new indie record store the Vinyl Countdown opened its doors this week at 724 King St.
The shelves are lined with everything from $1 records and CDs to brand new vinyl, including those from local artists.
Owner Aaron Levy says it’s a soft opening while they’re still getting used to being a store, and a grand opening will follow sometime in November.
For now, you can stop into the Vinyl Countdown Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sundays noon ’til 6 p.m.
