The temperature is warming up and spring is upon us, which means everyone is looking for ways to spend more time outdoors. Checking out one of the many farmers markets in the area is an excellent way to enjoy a beautiful Charleston day while also supporting local farmers, makers, artisans and food trucks.

A favorite market for locals and visitors, the Charleston Farmers Market is held every Saturday in Marion Square. After taking an essentials-only approach during 2021, the market plans to come back in full swing for 2022 with food trucks, vendors and family-friendly activities.

The Folly Art Village welcomes nearly 20 vendors selling clothing, apothecary items, beach gear, CBD products, jewelry and more. Fresh produce, eggs and bakes goods are also available for purchase from local farmers and bakers. The event also includes live music and kids crafts.
