Nico Romo, owner and chef at NICO in Mount Pleasant, will open his new downtown restaurant on Friday, Nov. 20. Bistronomy by Nico, which will offer a casual take on classic French cuisine, is located in the 64 Spring St. space formerly occupied by Josephine Wine Bar.

“After a few minor renovations, we are happy to be welcoming guests into our new space,” Romo said in a press release. “Bistronomy offers an innovative and diverse menu, while paying homage to classic French dishes.”

Bistronomy daily operations will be handled by co-owner Dominique Chantepie (Bistro A Vin), and Andres Contreras (The Establishment and Rue de Jean) will serve as Bistronomy’s general manager.

Bistronomy will serve customers Monday through Thursday from 4-10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 12–10 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made online through OpenTable or by calling (843) 410-6221.
