For all my talk about the coming warm weather yesterday, things on the Saturday before the festival’s kickoff look decidedly milder: just 71 degrees here at mid-morning, and unless I’m mistaken there’s rain on the way. At the moment, I’m off to record another pair of Spoletobuzz podcasts – first with PURE Theatre’s Rodney Rogers, Sharon Graci, and David Mandel, then immediately following that conversation I’ll sit back down with Spoleto artistic associate John Kennedy, director of the Music in Time series and overall wrangler of the Spoleto Festival Orchestra.

On tonight’s agenda: lots of Piccolo Visual Arts exhibit openings and receptions. Looks like Dan Conover’s team at the P&C‘s Spoletoblog will be making the rounds tonight too.
