The opening ceremony is still a few minutes away, but word is already spreading that this year’s big theatre production, Tristan & Yseult, is going to be the one Spoleto event you don’t want to miss. Those who caught last night’s pre-festival preview were blown away. CP photographer Nancy Santos — not exactly known for being the bubbly emotional type — was unshutuppable. I won’t be seeing it myself until tomorrow night, but I’ll pass along more details as they cross my path. For the moment, I’m off to watch the opening. I’ll see you on the other side.
