From editor Stephanie Barna:

Even though I should be making a guinea-pig shaped cake for my daughter’s third birthday (rugrats begin arriving in less than two hours), I’m moved to post about Tristan & Yseult, which I saw last night. Holy crap, what an enjoyable show. I absolutely loved everything about this piece — from the staging to the live band to the geeky lovespotters. This is a must-see. They’ll be here for another week, so there’s no excuse to miss this play. One of the best theatre experiences I’ve had in a long time… I hope they come back again.

Before the play, we stopped in at a party on State Street for the Music In Time people. I got to chat with the fabulous Nina Liu and finally met John Kennedy face to face. Oddly, I kept getting congratulated on my performance earlier that evening. Apparently, I looked a lot like the cellist and the pianist.

I don’t think I’ll be getting any new reviews today, and apparently Jennifer Corley has no intention of sending in a Mike Daisey review. You’ll just have to go on my word that it’s a piece worth seeing. You can link to the new reviews we posted yesterday And apparently the web mistress was unable to post the new reviews I sent over yesterday morning…. I’ll get back to you on that.
