WINE TASTING | Frog lovers unite

For those Francophiles who need more than a good French fry to make it through the week, Avondale Wine and Cheese has got the fix. Just show up on Monday, give cheese expert Manoli Davani Grayson a fiver, and warm your little French-loving heart with samples of hard-to-pronounce beers, five wines, and artisanal cheeses from a country that’s been in business a lot longer than most. France has some serious experience in making good wines and aging cheese to perfection, but Grayson says a lot of people aren’t particularly crazy about French beer. She likes the way they taste, though. So go try Tutz, Jenlain, and Castelain beer in this laid-back, “rustic but elegant” wine and cheese shop and see what you think. MONDAY
