Um, while we’re sure Gerald’s appreciates the extra pat on the back, you guys know that while they’ll patch your flats and replace your brake pads, they don’t technically “fix” cars, right? You can’t take your busted timing belt or junky old transmission to Gerald’s, but perhaps it’s telling that they easily swept this category anyway. Next year, maybe it’s time to show some love to our town’s dedicated mechanics — if you can find one, that is… —Sara Miller
