A drink contest was held this year with the help of Chazzest sponsor Brown Forman (of Jack Daniels) to determine the Official Drink of ChazzFest. Bartender Henry Fincke, from the Wenworth Grill in the Renaissance Hotel, created the winning drink – the ChazzJulep, which will be available at the festival. After online voting was tallied by the Charleston City Paper, a team of judges sampled the top beverages and the winner was picked. The scores were very close and ChazzFest would like to thank everyone who participated. Other finalists included: Ada Bennett (Queen Anne’s Revenge), Bud Huber (J. Paul’z), Chad Nickey (AJ’s), Bryan Voss (McCrady’s) and Mike Lennon (McCrady’s).
