I always love seeing Charleston featured on TV and in magazines — it reminds me of why I moved here. Recently Travel + Leisure magazine did a piece on America’s Favorite Cities, and the Holy City was ranked prominently in many of the categories. Of the 25 cities listed, and from 60,000 responses, we were ranked #1 for friendliness; #2 for pedestrian friendliness, architecture, shopping, and romance; and #3 for most attractive people (Sorry Philly, you’re the ugliest).
