My old friend, and the man who gave me my start in radio, finally returns to Charleston’s airwaves:
“After a lengthy hiatus, The Critic is back. Last Friday, out of the blue, City Paper received official word from longtime Charleston radio personality Jim “The Critic” Voigt that he was in town and ready to rock the local airwaves again with two specialty shows on The Bridge at 105.5 FM (WCOO).
This weekend’s debut includes “The Critic’s Hootenanny,” which airs on Sat. Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon, and “The Critic’s Choice,” on Sun. Feb. 24 again from 9 to noon.”
