You know, you have to feel sorry for all the beer drinkers in these parts who passed away before the age of the import. They never got to hoist a pint of Guinness and then take a gulp. It’s a shame. A crying shame. Perhaps we should order another Guinness to get over our grief. And if not a Guinness, then a Black and Tan (Guinness and Bass) or a Half and Half (Guinness and Harp) or a Black and Blue (Guinness and Blue Moon) or a Bumble Bee (Guinness and Boddingtons) or a Darkling (Guinness and Yuengling), or a Samuel Jackson (Guinness and Sam Adams). And Madra Rua is a fair place to do just that, especially if rugby is your thing. It’s almost always on the telly.
