The Music Hall is a classy venue. For acts like Patty Griffin, Keb’ Mo, or Robert Cray, all of whom graced the stage in 2007, it’s the finest joint around. With its impeccable sound, carpeted seats and aisles, and good views from every seat on the floor and balcony, there’s no better place to see a concert (including the symphony!) in Charleston. But because they rely on outside promoters to book shows and rent the venue, it’s only utilized a few times a month. When it’s open though, the place is a treat, and it’s clear that the performers appreciate the quality.
