As if you needed an excuse to go to Chick-fil-A… Chick-fil-A on Magwood Road in West Ashley is teaming up with local animal rescue organizations for “Bark for Biscuits,” Saturday events at the restaurant to benefit local rescue groups and encourage adoption. From 10 a.m.-1 p.m. almost every Saturday, you can bring your pup to everyone’s favorite chicken restaurant and buy chicken biscuits, with $1 from each one going toward the organization of the day. You can also snag some dog biscuits and learn about pet necessities from the org. of the day. Here’s the list of participating organizations, so far:
· March 8 – Lowcountry Lab Rescue
· March 15 – Pet Helpers
· March 29 – Charleston Animal Society
· April 12 – Lowcountry Lab Rescue and Grateful Goldens Rescue at Pet Fest at J.I. County Park
· April 19 – Carolina Basset Hound Rescue
· April 26 – Charleston Animal Society
· May 10 – Lowcountry Lab Rescue
· May 17 – Greyhound Pets of America
· May 31 – Charleston Animal Society”
