They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that may be true. Honestly, we’ve never counted. But we are perfectly comfortable saying that the 7th Annual Charleston City Paper Photography Contest is worth a few hundred entries — more than 240 in fact. And while we applaud each and every shutterbug who submitted a shot, we have to say that you guys made it pretty darn difficult for us when it came time to deciding the winners in this year’s contest. Our judges picked the photos based solely on each picture’s merits, without any knowledge of who shot what. And quite frankly, we’re pleased with the results. We hope you will be too.
