Berkeley County Councilman Bill Crosby has filed to run against Charleston County Council Chairman Tim Scott, both Republicans, for the soon-vacant District 117 seat. Considering the district is made up mostly of Berkeley County residents (almost 2 to 1), Crosby’s run could prove to be a significant hurdle for Scott’s campaign.
