In the second concert of our Spring Season at Redux Studios, the NMC is happy to welcome sister organization RED LIGHT NEW MUSIC to Charleston from New York City. This similarly minded group of young composers and performers is on a short spring tour, bringing their unique brand of contemporary music to the Southeast.

Featuring cellists John Popham and Jessie Marino, and percussionist Kevin Sims, RED LIGHT will perform new works by composers Reiko Fueting, A. Vincent Raikhel, Scott Wollschleger, Kyle Hillbrand and Derek Muro. IN ADDITION, the NEW MUSIC COLLECTIVE will also perform, featuring visiting hornist Josh Philips performing alongside the NMC’s Nathan Koci and Ron Wiltrout. They will perform works by John Hollenbeck, Meredith Monk, and Koci himself.
