Republican Chris Cannon has filed to challenge Rep. Leon Stavrinakis in November for his Statehouse seat. This seat is often contested and it’s really been surprising that it took this long for a Republican to file. Cannon is a Johns Island resident who has been involved in the road discussions on the island.
