Madonna, who loves to cause a stir, threw McCain into a visual slide show of “stupid” people (that included Hitler and Robert Mugabe).
With nothing else better to do during this big Dem week, the McCain campaign took the time to slap Madonna around in a press statement (not realizing that really turns her on).
“The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time,” read the statement. “It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits.”
This “celebrity” stuff is really too much. At some point it starts looking like petty jealousy. You don’t see Hillary Duff having these fits because Miley Cyrus is getting all the press.
Anyway, so now Victoria Jackson, former SNL member-turned-conservative Christian, is linking Barack Obama to the anti-Christ at the only place that people will still listen to her: her blog.
“I don’t want a political label, but Obama bears traits that resemble the anti-Christ and I’m scared to death that un-educated people will ignorantly vote him into office. My mom likes him because his children are well dressed!”
I’m sure hoping the Obama campaign has better things to do than call out this troubled woman and her crazy, personal perspective. But, then again, they aren’t desperate for attention.
