Will Folks (pictured) up at FITS News got the Republicans firing at each other again today with reports of a fight between Sen. Glenn McConnell and Gov. Mark Sanford’s office over unfounded reports that McConnell was going to shake up the Senate and toss a few conservative chairmen from their posts.
“Whoever concocted this idea has an imagination greater than the writers of Star Wars,” McConnell said. “This is fantasy land, someone deliberately trying to stir up dissention in our ranks. It smacks to me of daydreaming and imagination in the Governor’s Office.”
McConnell has even stronger fighten’ words for Sanford, but I’ll throw you folks to Will for those bits.
