Free Old-School Hip-Hop Night. Mondays @ The Pour House

Busy local hip-hop/electronic groove collective U.F.O. — a.k.a. Unfadeable Fader Operators — is warmed up and set to perform a weekly series at the Pour House. Every Monday, Fred Krugrrr (pictured at right), DJ Kurfu, John Kutter (Kutfilthy), and June (F.N.) spin a mix of ’80s and ’90s hits and grooves on the main stage starting at 9 p.m.

“Old-school hip-hop is the theme and the event,” states Kurfu. “The Unfadeable Fader Operators is a DJ crew using four turntables. We will have weekly musical guests as well as feature a visual artist each week.”

Last week’s kick-off event (Mon. 11/10) featured live graffiti artwork by the Kings of Charleston. Local break dance crew Hipnotik BodyRock and VJs from Open Dome Productions will be on hand each week. No cover. Shout for the Sugar Hill Gang and Big Daddy Kane.
