The folks at Maverick Southern Kitchens have sent out a message from Jill, who is beginning her arduous recovery process:
I am at home, taking it one day at a time. I’m sending a warm thank-you to everyone who has helped, and will help, me get through. Family members on both sides continue to come to Charleston — my brother Josh, who is stationed in Washington state, just returned from Iraq yesterday and I am excited to see him. Again, thanks to everyone!
As new information develops, we will relay it to everyone.
The memorial service for Brett Maynard will be held on Wed. Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. at Stuhr’s Funeral Home at 232 Calhoun St.
